Basic - Use 26 White Cards

Object:   Get rid off all your cards to win the game.  Do this by placing cards on the board in ascending order ABCDEFG or descending order AGFEDCB. The last card you get rid of can be placed on the board or throw away deck to win the game. 

 

1. Deal 5 cards to each player.

2. Place deck face down. Music Lessons In Your House logo is face up. 

. 3. Player one will pick up one card from the deck. If any of the 6 cards in hand is the letter "A" it can be placed on the shared board. The letter "A" is placed on the shared board, followed by letter "B" (a step higher) or letter "G" (a step lower).  A step is from a line to the next space or space to the next line.  If a card can't be played, player one  will throw away a card face up to start a throw away deck. 

4. Player two will pick up one card from the deck and  will continue the sequence of letters where player one ended.  DON'T pick up cards from the throw away deck.  If letter "B" was the last card placed on the board by player one,  player two can place a letter "C" on the board and continue to "D" and so forth until a card can’t be played. The turn ends by throwing away a card in the throw away deck. 

5. If the order ABCDEFG has been completed and players are still holding cards,  start from "A" again one step above letter "G". Continue through the sequence until a player wins. 

6. If the deck runs out, turn over the throw away deck to form a new deck and continue play. 

7. If  player one accidentally throws away a card that can be played on the board, player two can pick it up and place it on the board. Player one loses the chance throw away and player two continues  by picking up from the deck. 

8. If players run out of steps to place cards, it is a draw.

Advanced -  Use 51 Black & White Cards

Object:   Get rid off all your cards to win the game.  Do this by placing cards on the board in ascending order ABCDEFG or descending order AGFEDCB. The last card you get rid of can be placed on the board or throw away deck to win the game.
